The 20-40mm Blue Slate Chippings have a natural variation in colour from blue, grey to plum and it’s what makes this aggregate particularly attractive. Dusky when dry and glossy when wet a wonderful addition to any garden. This lovely blue slate chipping is great for flowerbeds, plant pots, paths and especially drives.
The blue slate is the flattest slate of all the other colours so it can provide a much neater finish when laid and as always, it looks fantastic when wet.
Slate Chippings help deter weeds on beds and borders, promoting a healthier, cleaner garden.
Create features such as alpines or rock gardens to complete the perfect outdoor look.
Fish Friendly after washing so they can also be used in ponds and water features.
Blue slate is best laid 3-4cm deep and deeper on drives. It will settle and lay very flat very quickly.
