Screened Topsoil

Our topsoil screening is done using a large screening machine which separates the finer soil particles from larger pieces of debris such as twigs, stones and large plant roots. The soil is fed into the machine by a front-end loader and then falls onto a screen that vibrates to loosen the materials. The fine soil falls through the screen, and the debris are discarded outside the machine.

An excellent, sustainable, multi-purpose topsoil, screened to 20mm it will contain some stones and naturally occurring organic matter which is important for drainage and aeration. This soil is fine, dark brown, easily raked and ideal for garden landscaping and making up levels. Useful in all areas of your garden, from under turf to raising levels

Weed free and slightly alkaline pH (pH 8.1), so is suitable for general landscaping purposes.

• As an underlay for our turf
• To level ground

Our bulk bags are 75 x 85 x 95 cm and hold approx. 0.60m³
