The Otter Nursery stock a  tough, top quality, hard-wearing turf, grown on easy to lay, lightweight  soil .. Our turf is ideal for family gardens, public parks and commercial landscaping because it’s a durable, trusted lawn which we can deliver straight to the front of your property using our 17ton Mann Hiab Lorry (dimensions: 2.7M wide, 7.0M long, 3.7M high) , or you can collect from our nursery.  For more details please see our delivery page (our delivery charges are per delivery NOT per product!)

Our turf  has a typical seed mixture of:

• 25% Perennial Ryegrass
• 20% Slender Creeping Red Fescue
• 20% Strong Creeping Red Fescue
• 15% Chewings Fescue
• 20% Slender creeping fescue - Bar pearl

Each role of turf covers 1m2, rough measurements per role  61 cm x 164 cm (24" x 64")

We offer fresh turf supplies 'to order' so are able to cut and deliver the next working day if ordered by 11am, this service is available Tuesday - Friday. Turf required on Monday would need o be ordered by 11am on Friday.

For best turfing results use our premium grade 15mm topsoil
or our cheaper 20mm topsoil
